I purchased this desk because I needed something basic and inexpensive for my small studio apartment. It arrived quickly, and assembly was relatively straightforward. It's VERY small, however, and the construction is cheap. It feels sturdy once assembled, but the particle board components are very thin. (I actually punctured a hole through one of the boards while hammering in a hardware component, so be careful!)

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a small, simple, inexpensive desk, but don't expect the quality you'd find from a more expensive product.

PROS:
- easy to assemble
- compact
- looks nice
- side shelves for extra storage/display space


CONS:
- cheap construction
- small workspace (fits my 13" laptop but doesn't leave much room for other materials)
- very short- you'll need a low chair!
